Great Plains Benefits Group, Inc. – Employer Advisers has provided custom Governance Training to Boards of Directors since 1995.

Generally, we conduct a 6-8 hour Board of Directors training session to provide all Board members with critical information related to their duties and responsibilities as members of a governance board.

This information is summarized in detail in a customized Board of Directors’ Handbook which is provided to all Board Members. We focus on an individual’s role as a Board Member and the relationship between the Board and its Executive Director or Superintendent. Additionally, topics such as Organizational Culture, Vision Statement, Mission Statement, and Core Values are reviewed. Job Descriptions for Board Members and Officers are reviewed.
